Making Three Changes Will Increase Sales

by Jim Klein

Every where you look today people are talking about how bad things
are. Their talking about the economy, the stock market, the price
of gas. We are being inundated with negativity. How can you expect
to make sales when all you hear is a negative voice in your ear?

I'm here today to give you three changes you can make right now
that will help you increase your sales.

1. Change your thoughts

Stop listening to the news and reading the newspaper. Go on a 90
day no news diet. It's all negative anyway so why would you want to
pay attention to it? I know you're probably thinking, but Jim, I
have to be informed. Maybe you have to be informed, however, you
don't need to be inundated. And anyway, if something happens that
you really need to know about, I guarantee someone will tell you.

Avoid everything that is negative including negative people.

Start reading positive books, listening to positive CD's and
hanging around with positive people. Start focusing on all the
positive things that are going on around you. Remember, whatever
you focus on expands. So focus on the positive and you will attract
more positive things in to your life.

Immerse yourself in anything and everything you can that will keep
you positive.

2. Change your feelings

Begin each day being grateful for all the good things in your life
and continue that attitude of gratitude throughout the day. Start a
gratitude list and continue adding to it every time you think of
something to be grateful for. Include the things that we all tend
to take for granted, like the air we breathe and the food we eat.

Be aware throughout the day how you're feeling. f your feeling bad
then your'e focusing on something you don't want, so change your
thoughts to what you do want and the feelings will change also. If
you catch yourself feeling bad or down or negative, make a
conscious decision to change the way you're feeling.

3. Change your actions

If you're not making sales, doing what you're doing then do
something different. There's an old saying, "If you keep doing what
you're doing, you'll keep getting what you're getting". Look at the
activities that are causing you to have a positive outcome and do
more of those activities. In the reverse, stop doing the things
that are not giving you a positive outcome.

Look at what everyone else is doing. Most sales people are failing
miserably, so look at what they're doing and do the opposite. I
know this may seem simple, however, it can have a dramatic impact
on how many sales you make. Don't be a follower because the masses
are doing it all wrong. Blaze a new trail.

Get up off your butt and do something, even if it's wrong. Thomas
Edison made 10,000 attempts before he invented the light bulb. A
hall of fame baseball player only hits the ball successfully 3 out
of ten times. Do something. It's better than doing nothing.

The way to change the way things are on the outside is to change
the way things are on the inside.

So make it a GREAT day!
